Fullbleed: Unconventional Simplicity
I don’t know exactly what it is that I enjoy about artist Rob Dobi aka Dobi, but his work, especially the Fullbleed brand puts him into my top five favorite tee designers. As Rob puts it, “Lately my work has been more conceptual as I take everyday events and attempt to juxtapose them in an unconventional manner.” and this is what makes his tees stand out.
Fullbleed started in the summer of 2004 as a side project while Rob was doing freelance design work for bands and flipping burgers. People started following the work he was doing because of the bands he was affiliated with, so he ran with it. Over the past year or so the response has been overwhelming and this side project has turned into Rob’s full-time job.
